Eulyth McMorrow — MSc, RCSLT, HCPC Reg.
Compassionate, expert care for adults and children with communication and swallowing difficulties. With over 35 years at consultant level, I bring both depth of knowledge and a genuinely personal approach to every client I work with.
Who I Am
I am a highly experienced Consultant Speech and Language Therapist with a broad clinical background spanning both independent practice and the NHS. Over a career of more than 35 years, I have held a number of highly specialist clinical leadership roles within the NHS, and since 2000 have also established and developed my own independent consultancy alongside these positions. Throughout this time, I have led Speech and Language Therapy teams across a diverse range of specialisms, including acquired and developmental neurological communication disorders, as well as voice and fluency (stammering) difficulties.
My clinical approach combines advanced assessment with a compassionate, person-centred ethos and close multidisciplinary collaboration. I am committed to delivering tailored, evidence-based interventions for both children and adults with complex communication and swallowing needs.
Alongside my clinical work, I have extensive medico-legal experience. I act as an expert witness in cases within my areas of expertise, undertaking capacity assessments, comprehensive communication evaluations, and developing detailed, individualised rehabilitation programmes.
What I Offer
Drawing on over 35 years of consultant-level practice, I offer consultant assessment and therapy across a wide range of communication and swallowing needs.
Consultant assessment and management of swallowing disorders in adults and children. Fully trained in VFS and FEES assessments, with extensive experience leading dedicated clinics in secondary care.
Comprehensive communication and swallowing rehabilitation following stroke or acquired brain injury. Tailored therapeutic intervention aligned to each individual's recovery stage and personal goals.
Assessment and treatment of a wide range of voice disorders, including collaborative work within dedicated Voice Clinics alongside ENT colleagues. Experienced in stroboscopic and FEES assessments.
Consultant assessment and therapy for children and adults who stammer, using evidence-based approaches. A warm, supportive environment that prioritises the whole person, not just the fluency.
Extensive consultant experience with children and adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism, including complex communication needs and co-occurring acquired neurological conditions.
Acting as an expert witness in legal cases related to my consultant clinical areas. Services include capacity assessments, comprehensive communication evaluations, and tailored rehabilitation plans.
